The short written forms of Hex values
Hex three digit code
This works if the red, green and blue values are each same then you can use just three digits to represent the six digit. So instead of rrggbb it will be rgb.
Three digit hex is written as
p{
color: #000;
}
- #000 - instead of #000000

Four digit hex code
This works if the red, green, blue and alpha values are each same then you can use just four digits to represent the eight digit. So instead of rrggbbaa it will be rgba.
Examples of four digit hex
p{
color: #000F
}
p{
color: #FA5C
}
- #000F - instead of 000000FF
- #F00C - instead of FFAA55CC
Conclusion
